One Sentence That Can Make or Break Your Sales

In the marketing world there are SO many tactics and strategies that can have a direct impact on the overall sales in business.

Ask any “expert” in their field and they’ll give your their take on what’s the most important piece of the sales puzzle.

Ask any great copywriter what they find vitally important in the success of a blog, ad, sales page and they’ll tell you that there is one sentence that will help your sales soar OR cause it to tank.

That one sentence is the Headline. The headline can be the blog title, an email subject line or the very first line of a sales page.

Most entrepreneurs don’t spend nearly enough time writing (and re-writing) their headlines and great copywriters and marketers agree that in order to get your audience to pay attention you need to spend more time writing great headlines.

On the average, five times as many people read the headline as read the body copy. When you have written your headline, you have spent eighty cents out of your dollar.
